MERC Tutorting

McCully’s Qualified Staff

All tutors at McCully’s Educational Resource Center are professionals who have a high level of competency in their academic instructional areas. They care about each student they work with, strive to help their students succeed and share in their joy when they reach their goals. When you bring your child in for a session, you will observe the constant encouragement and positive reinforcement that our educators use with students. Our tutors are college-educated, and many hold advanced degrees. All of our teachers are members of our community and many teach in the local schools. This means they have an understanding of the local school’s curriculum and can better link the lessons for tutoring with what’s being taught in school.

Many members of MERC’s staff are educational specialists with Masters’ Degrees, advanced training, and certification for one or more of the following:

  • Gifted and talented students
